LR AWD Waiting Room

I took delivery of my M3 (blue,LR AWD,sports wheels w/FSD) yesterday!! Excellent!! I ordered it on Halloween with 5-9weeks wait. It arrived at the Tesla Service Center In Rockville, Maryland View attachment 484911 on Monday, December 2nd and I picked it up on Wednesday, December 4th. So it took 5 weeks; not a bad estimate. I am glad it was 5 weeks instead of 9 weeks!

Wow...that really looks great. I was debating between blue or white...Blue definitely has a great look. Congrats on the car...Enjoy!!!

Yeah i hear ya..Kinda sad...thought about removing the post. But I've been waiting 3 years for this car. Got the green light from the wife on Halloween. Pulled the trigger and thought that it would happen sooner. They did say 5-8 weeks from ordering. Its been 5 weeks...so they have 21 days to deliver!!!

Hoping that I get good news today. I will be going to the Sales room today to see if I can put some pressure on them to get me some information...any information.

VIN showed up in the source code for me today! Ordered MSM, 18" Aeros, w/o FSD on 11/25. I'm taking delivery on Jacksonville, FL but they haven't reached out to schedule a time/day yet. Hopefully I'll hear back soon!

Talked to a Tesla employee and asked about the delays. He thinks they may have prioritized EU shipments in Oct/Nov because it takes time to ship over there. Now they can focus on US deliveries in Dec. Sounds like a reasonable explanation.

I picked up my Pearl White LR AWD yesterday here in Charlotte! Supposed to pick it up Saturday, but I called yesterday (because my SA wouldn't answer my emails) to confirm my Saturday pickup. Long story short, he verified my car was there and said I could come get it before the rush (their lot is PACKED FULL of Model 3's for delivery this weekend!) Anyway, HOLY HECK is this car amazing! I love it!!!

Hello all. I just ordered my LR AWD here in Texas 11/29. Guess I won’t get my hopes up for the quoted 3 - 5 weeks delivery it showed online! Finally decided to part with my ZL1 Camaro for my M3. So excited but from the sound of things here it may be a little longer than that estimate. Seems like it’s worth the wait though. Ordered the basic LR AWD (Pearl White, 18” Aero wheels, black interior, no FSD).

Just received an email from a Delivery Support Specialist in Las Vegas. I guess this is different from my local Sales Advisor I’ve been in contact with since test drive / order took place and is slowly progressing?

First post here!

Ordered a white/black LR with aeros on November 12th. Completed all of the loan and license requirements on the 12th including uploading current auto ins (minus Tesla obvs). I spoke to multiple reps throughout the end of November that said I would have a VIN by Nov 30... It's now December 3rd and still have no VIN.
One rep said I'd likely take delivery by December 9th but I don't see that happening if they still need to ship the vehicle to Houston and then to me in New Orleans.

Waiting is hard.

FYI My SA told me that all vins are out in pre-production lists that they assign to their customers. I would strongly suggest making a call today to get that vin. Especially the folks in Cali! Make contact today! I have my vin but still no delivery date assigned.

I inquired with Tesla Chat "where is my car!" and they responded one day later, on 12/3 via email:

We are currently waiting for your vehicle to complete production.
Once it has been completed we will have a VIN then be able to schedule your delivery appointment.


Whatever that means.

No updates on my end either. Ordered on 10/30 white/white with no FSD and 19" sports wheel for pick up in Fremont, CA.

SA told me that I should be getting matched to a VIN soon for pick up in Dec but no specific timeframe for Dec...

This whole “last two weeks of December” thing is kind of crazy. Those last two weeks (at least from the 21st on) are probably the most likely period in the year that customers can not pick up a car.

I actually just happened to call them yesterday and then got my VIN next day...I am sure it is a coincidence, but if you have not called them recently - no harm in giving it a shot just to get an update from them.
