First time posting here! Finally got my VIN. No email/phone call at all from Tesla. No clue what the next step is? I have to now get my financing in order and car insurance taken care of, but is there any estimate of when i can take delivery once you see your VIN?

Friday afternoon I received an email from the Tesla Delivery Specialist with my MVPA and questions about how my lender will send the funds to Tesla. I signed, scanned, and sent the MVPA along with the questions and all I got back was a, "Thanks!" from my lender ....now Alliant lenders are out of the office until Monday.
Hoping this delay doesn't hold up delivery but it would seem like Alliant and Tesla would have all of those details worked out already, no?

Scheduled on 12/13 @ 1030am. MIght be a Powerball ticket too given the date if the stars align who knows....

Friday afternoon I received an email from the Tesla Delivery Specialist with my MVPA and questions about how my lender will send the funds to Tesla. I'm in the exact same boat as you are. Same area even, SE Louisiana. Just submitted my documents and emailed my lender at Alliant yesterday around noon with the same questions and didn't get a response from him. I was hoping to have it all wrapped up before the weekend to move things along. Waiting anxiously to get an actual delivery date.

Couldn't take the wait anymore (departure date for our trip was getting uncomfortably close), so when our SA offered a stealth with identical specs I went for it. And it's already at the delivery center! Just waiting for final paperwork.

Yeah, I went to the link provided in the text on my computer and didnt have any trouble with scheduling the appointment. After the appointment was set, I then was able to make a ACH payment via my account page to to settle up. Hopefully its just a small fluke and you get it scheduled!

So frustrating! I just received an email from Delivery Specialist saying it will delay delivery if they don't receive payment confirmation asap... You would think Alliant and Tesla would have a more efficient working relationship by this point.

I ordered my LR AWD with FSD on 11/26 and am told I should get my VIN within days for a delivery on 12/7 or 18 here in Bellevue, WA, as we travel after that. Was offered to get a Sleeper instead to go faster, but the additional cost will not work for me.

I don’t really get the whole stealth/sleeper thing. Everyone’s waiting for their vehicles, but all these sleepers are just sitting around?

Same here it seems counterintuitive to produce cars that no one can buy at least officially.

I don’t think all the sleepers are sitting around. For some reason, Tesla just decided to insert a ton of these into the production schedule - possibly to try to get some people ordering to switch to them. Why? It isn't clear. When I took delivery of mine last week, my DA was very honest and said she had no idea why Tesla just decided to make these cars and schedule more.

From what I’m reading on this forum, Tesla seems to really have made a mess of it this Q4 with US deliveries and even worse with CA deliveries. This is what I was concerned about fir many weeks - that Tesla was going to try and slam everything into the last 2 weeks in December.

The best people can do is get all their information together in their online account, clear their schedule as best as possible, and be in for the most chaotic delivery of all time. I guess I got lucky, but most did not and it is unfortunate that so many people are getting “bum’s rush” deliveries at the end of the year when most people are either away or with families.

I personally think the cars will come, but be delivered in less than optimal situations. Best to keep on bugging your SA either. Thats all they listen to apparently.

I'm also in the Orlando area. I got my VIN in source code last Saturday, the VIN showed up 4 days later (or so) on the 'my tesla' page, along with a delivery date. Yesterday, I received an email from them asking me to confirm the delivery date. I am scheduled to pick up the car on Monday at 11am.

I am in SW Louisiana and in similar situation. I had a SA call and text me last week to help me get everyone in order. Today I got my vin in the source code so I texted my SA and asked if they was sufficient to secure my financing or wait until official vin - he said the vin I got from source code was fine. I am also financing through alliance and I have completed all the paperwork except hey are now asking for the MVPA - I texted this info to my SA but have not heard back.
