Just got a VIN for the order we placed won 9/7. We didn't get the text yet to select the delivery date, but it's set for 9/18 right now. I let the Tesla store guy who helped us know, he looked up the VIN and said it's in VA right now, about a half days drive, but it's possible they are going to other states first before mine. Just happy we got the VIN at this point, though hopefully we get a text soon so we can get some more exact details :)
 
I called a rep at the Costa Mesa, CA SC about my 8/18, Black on premium white order. He said they'll be getting more AWD models this weekend into next week. And I should have my car by next week.

I also asked about upgrading my referral to 2,000 SuperCharger miles with the recent change. He's asking the manager....
 
Sounds like I could be in for a long wait. Account page states "Estimated Delivery: within 2 weeks from order placed date"
Ordered 8/12 - LR AWD with White/Black Interior & 18" Aero Wheels.
Checked source code 8/16 - Min delivery Sept, Max delivery October
Checked source code 8/17 - Min delivery Oct, Max delivery Dec

Update: Got a VIN assigned today while I was on the phone with my delivery specialist. Went ahead and added FSD, while I was on the phone and had the MVPA within 10 minutes. Went online and paid and it looks like it will make it to Texas and be ready for pickup next Thursday the 19th!
 
Ordered 8/11, delivered 9/11. AWD LR, aero wheels, black interior.

Talked to the Tesla showroom in Washington Square in Portland, OR area today about the White/Black/Aero LR AWD I ordered on 8/16. No VIN yet, but they said it would show up by end of month and that they would honor the trade-in offer for my Leaf after the 30-day period was up. Waiting is hard.
 
Ordered LR AWD (white/black interior/aero/no FSD) on 9/4/19 (yes, its only been a week but it feels like an eternity) through the Tesla rep at the Americana in LA via phone (long story but he had to cancel my original 9/1/19 to ensure that the referral code from a family member was on the order). Filled out all the requisite items - insurance, financing through 3rd party, etc. and now its stuck on "drafting up contract..." I did the source code trick and so far no VIN there but my minimum expected delivery date is Nov. 2019 and maximum is Jan. 2020!! Part of the reason I ordered early enough was to ensure I will get the car in 2019 for tax reasons...and now I'm concerned that I won't get it until next year. Any ideas on what to do next? Would paying some of the remaining balance help speed things up?

My guess is you'll get a car this month. They deliver a ton to hit their quarter end push. Just be patient. I ordered 8/3 and I'm picking my car up on 9/14. They are incentivised to deliver your car as soon as possible!
 
Anyone seeing more deliveries in SoCal? I placed an order on August 24th for a pearl-white LR AWD w/ autopilot and yet to get a VIN. Hoping we start to see the end of quarter rush I’ve heard about! Apparently they start to deliver close to their factories (at least Fremont) due to shipping/ordering etc. but not sure if this is actually the case. Been a long ~3 weeks, although I know many folks have waited far longer

Thanks @bdelrizzo ! I found this early this morning and as the offices are currently closed I just placed an order for the one I wanted. I will call my sales rep and either move it over or cancel the pending reservation. Exactly as I configured except no FSD, which hopefully can be added as a software update. Psyched!! Plus, 2000 referral miles LOL
