for what its worth -- my order page was updated tonight and finally reads a correct delivery expected range ..

My order was placed on 10/16 .. and the site used to read 2 weeks until delivery.

Finally tonight it reads 6-10 weeks for delivery from order date.

I dont remotely think that the expected delivery date is a very sophisticated prediction algorithm .. but nice to see that they finally found someone to update the webpage.
 
I just took delivery of my LRAWD yesterday. I ordered it on 14 Oct. Looks like I just squeaked in under the 6-10 week delivery adjustment. I did get a 2020 model, no changes other than the year except all vehicles built after 14 Oct do not have the grocery hooks in the frunk. Not a huge deal but when you pay a lot for a car you expect to have everything as “advertised”. No one at the delivery center knew about the change and had to do some digging. When changes occur they should push that out to at the very least the delivery specialist and all those who have orders in and will be effected. Again not a huge deal.

Is it only frunk book
Or absence of dead pedal and ambient light too?
Also how do you know your car’s manufacture date ?
 
I ordered my grey LR AWD on October 28th. Delivery is going to be to a Jersey dealership. So I know I’m probably in for a wait here. Also new to the boards and obsessing over everything haha.

which one in Jersey? I have had a miserable time dealing with 2 of them so far. I ordered about 2 weeks before you.

It’s either the Springfield or Paramus location. I forget which one I chose. It’s like a 2 mile difference from where I am in jersey city. I have heard not great things about both locations. Wish I could have gone through Manhattan. Love the staff there...but I want that sales tax break

Yeah same, I was ready to take delivery at another state to make sure my car wouldn’t be given away...but I can’t turn down the thousands of dollars in tax savings. It makes a huge difference

Oh, I’m sure I will. Hahah. Par for the course with getting one of these cars I guess. I’m glad I found the message boards to lower my expectations on the process and just enjoy the car when I finally get it.
 
I noticed when I login into my account, "the 2 weeks delivery" estimation disappeared. I ordered a LR AWD on 10/11 @ Bay Area. Has anyone have similar situation?

Had it happen last night on my SR+ order up here in Eastern Washington - plus I got hit with the $500 price bump that I shouldn't have, as I ordered on the same day as you. No answers from my delivery support specialist, or a sales person in Bellveue that I was chatting with (don't think he's assigned to my order, though).

I emailed my SA and waiting for her respond. As for the uplift in price of $500, they shouldn't increase on you because you already signed the purchase agreement and they should honor the price when you placed your order.
