dhodgejr and starboarder.... Not sure how you are still sane. I am going nuts inside. I ordered 25 and 30 days, respectively, after you. I'm emailing my SA almost every other day. They told me I could get a stealth for $2k more, but the color and interior wouldnt be what I originally ordered. If they had that, I would be tempted. Wife was even onboard for the additional $2k...

I once ordered a BMW trim that wasn’t in stock and it took 2.5 months to arrive from Germany. But at least I had a steady stream of updates on it’s progress from manufacture, then even real-time shipping updates on a map as it made it’s way over the ocean, (that part was actually kind of fun).

Ordered on 11/3 and my VIN popped up in the source code just today. Still not on the web page though. White w/ black interior. No FSD. I'm in North Texas.

Logged in and the manage page changed to say "please pay your balance before delivery" so I checked the source code and I found a VIN!
My deets: North Carolina. LR AWD; White with Black; 18" aeros; no FSD. Ordered 10/28.
I still have some questions: I think I'd actually rather trade in my current car so I can transfer the tags, but I didn't state that yet. Also not sure about payment methods and stuff.
I've never been contacted by anyone from Tesla - can I expect that to happen at some point soon so I can ask these questions?
I'm so excited and now terrified that I won't be able to meet their delivery window...

Just spoke to the Fremont Delivery center and was told that my car is still in pre-production even though i have a vin in source. She said maybe the week of the 16th. I then called my DA in Santa Barbara and asked and he said that it could happen any moment and that he really doesn't have any idea except by end of year. I had a sneaky feeling that i was in for delay because most CA based peeps do not have vin yet. I got a vin on Nov 28 but nothing since which leads me to believe that these cars are set to come out week of the 16th. The SA then told me all Tesla approved loans are good for 60 days now. So that was a relief. Hang in there crew it will happen. I am exhausted trying to keep busy waiting for this car and this forum has provided a bit of relief. Thx to all that have shared!!
Was it on the Page where you have the manage button or did you have to hit the manage button to go to a new page and then it says "Please pay your balance before delivery"?
Hoping that since we are both in NC and you ordered on 10/28 that maybe I'll see something by the end of the week!!!
Ordered 10/21, still no VIN or delivery date or anything. LR AWD, blue/black, 19" tires, no FSD. Latest word from my delivery specialist in the L.A. area is "We are anticipating last two weeks of December for the majority of the vehicles."
Of course, like a lot of people I'm sure, I'm going to be out of town for a good portion of that time (21st through 30th). And trying to schedule a delivery on Dec. 31st sounds perilous if I'm hoping to secure the last dregs of the federal incentive. So at this point I'm checking the account page every bleepin' hour hoping I can get my car before we leave. Oh the tension!

I take issue when they say last two weeks of December because the last week of December is literally 3 days. 3 days is not a week. But that's just me and how I feel about them saying "last two weeks of December" ...*sigh*
I hit the manage button and that's where i saw the changed word.

Final configuration on 10/7. Delivered today via carrier direct from Scottsdale. Delivery experience was great. Arrived in a closed carrier. Driver was very knowledgable and friendly. Car was perfect. Arrived with ~ 55% SOC. Not delivered to home due to where I live but at neaarby truckstop which was ideal for everyone.
Good news for LR AWD buyers in the Seattle area. We found our VIN in source code this morning. No contact yet from Tesla about delivery date.
Ordered online on 10/18: LR AWD MSM/black 18" Aero FSD. Delivery location is Bellevue. (About 46 days from configuration to VIN.)
We are about a week from being card-carrying members of the cult. And we could not possibly be more thrilled.

I ordered mine (metallic paint, aero wheels, FSD) on 10/20. Haven't heard anything regarding a VIN or delivery date.
When I ordered, the sales rep told me not to worry about the financing part of my profile so the loan application wouldn't expire. Do I need to fill that out in order to get a VIN assigned? I am going to cancel my order if delivery can't happen before 12/20 and don't really feel like processing a loan application and taking the credit inquiry for nothing.
