Anyone else skeptical they’ll be able to make all these deliveries in the next two weeks? I ordered LR AWD Nov. 1 in Denver and haven’t heard a peep. Getting down to the wire, and I’m sort of baffled that a technology-based company like Tesla has such a seemingly chaotic logistics/delivery system.

Yeah, similar spot to you, 10/25 order, Seattle, no word, SA not responding. I think they'll get the bulk of them done, but there will be some folks left hanging for sure and it will probably chaotic as all get-out at a lot of the west coast delivery centers.

I'm a week out from scheduled delivery and still have only seen the VIN in source code, not on page. I was waiting for it to 'officially' appear before calling State Farm to get insurance all squared away. But I called today with the VIN I have, and they were able to set most everything up.

However, they required the address for the lien holder. I'm financing through Tesla, and loan came through as US Bank NA. I checked source again, and sure enough there was an address in there! BUT - this address didn't show up in State Farms DB, so she pushed back. I ended up calling the dealership where I'm taking delivery (Devon, PA) and an SA looked up the address -- same one in my source. So called back SF, explained this is the address they're looking for, and it's all good to go.

I have not spoken to a human at Tesla since my test drive. After speaking with an SA today, my VIN suddenly appeared on my account page.

Point #1 of this post - if you need a bank address and financed through Tesla, that should be in the source code too.
Point #2 - if you've got a VIN in source but not on page, reach out to the dealership if you haven't and see if it'll magically appear after your conversation.

Best of luck to all those still waiting to schedule a date to hit end of year!

(Ordered 11/23, Source VIN 12/5, Schedule text 12/6, Delivery 12/23, Central PA, Blue/Black LR AWD)

My account showed a delivery appointment of December 17th at 11 am for about a week now. This morning I reached out to Joshua, my delivery specialist, to ask if the driver would be in contact before arrival. Instead of a response to that email, I received another email with an updated delivery of the 18th or 19th... We've cleared our schedule and my wife took time off of work for our delivery tomorrow and now last minute, they changed it. Really f'd us up and not sure if we'll be available on the 18th or 19th...

Ok California people, there continues to be movement! I am in Mission Viejo picking up at Costa Mesa.
Ordered 10/21 Blue/Black LR 19" FSD vin finally appeared. I had just checked the source code and had nothing and decided to download the Vin Finder Chrome extension to avoid the additional step and as soon as it installed, it said I had a vin. Because I didn't believe it because I had just checked not even a minute prior, I double checked the source code and viola...it's there! I called Tesla and they said it's in preproduction and should be delivered by the weekend. Fingers crossed as I will be gone for the year 12/23.

UPDATE:
Received a call from SA and she confirmed that only one of us need to sign for the delivery of the vehicle. Opposite of what they said a few weeks ago.. She also said it may still show up tomorrow.. *bangs head on desk*

I am in Oceanside CA. Delivery site is the Carlsbad location. My Delivery Manager has been in touch via email, and when I asked her today about delivery status her reply was:

"Hi Bob,
We anticipate your vehicle to be delivered the week of Christmas.
Thank you for your patience!"

Ordered on 11/14. Blue with White interior. Oh for the want of a VIN number........ Love to be able to pick it up on the 24th....

I'm in the same boat as you except I do not have official vin, I've had the source code vin for a week. I was able to use that to set up insurance. My financing is going through Tesla (alliance) but I cannot complete the financing until I get the MVPA agreement from Tesla. I’ve texted and spoken to SA and he said Tesla is working in it. I ordered 11/15 with 4-6 week delivery. Lr awd white/white aero wheels. I have read other people say in the group they will get a delivery date text, the. The MVPA would show up. this all just seems like a strange process, I still have faith and hope!!!

I e-mailed my delivery coordinator this morning. He'd told me that they're waiting on more cars to arrive before they'd ship mine (I'm doing carrier direct) and he didn't know when I should expect it to arrive. Got a call 30 minutes ago from a shipping company telling me they'd be here tomorrow afternoon. I'm not sure of whatever magic happened, but I'm ecstatic about it!

FWIW @Timmygp...I’m in Houston, found source code on Friday, then received the text to schedule delivery on Saturday. I uploaded my proof of Insurance required here in Texas (just used the source VIN, insurance company said that if it changed they update to reflect VIN no problem) this morning. Spoke to both my SA here in Houston and the DA in Las Vegas, they both told me that Tesla’s servers are being hammered trying to get the MVPAs out and they’d “hopefully have it in a few days”. I also need that to supply to my credit union so they can fund the car before it can even be shipped to Texas.

I have a order in at Carlsbad also from 10/21. LR AWD. They haven’t been able to give me a delivery estimate other than before end of year. No vin yet either. Getting ridiculous. Who did you email?

Ordered 10/26 at Buena Park Red/Black LR 19” FSD and VIN appeared in source tonight. I noticed on my account screen that the Payment info was showing as “Pending” even though that has been checked off for probably over a month now and figured it had been awhile and approval probably expired. SA said he’d check on it and about an hour later account screen asked me to confirm the payment/financing details again. I did and within a few minutes, I found the VIN in the source code. Funny I keep checking it to make sure it’s still there. No delivery info in source at this point.

Me too. There are 15 days left in the year and less than that if you assume (hope) Tesla isn't making employees deliver cars on Christmas Day or on Christmas Eve.
