Nope. It's sitting in my driveway with no plates. I can't use it, except to set up the car's features.
Wow, in California we get 90 days to register our car, no plates needed. I drove for weeks with the Zero Emissions plate.

Actually I think first of the year the DMV rules changed and we have to have paper plates as temporaries instead of that nice rectangular clear and red registration sticker on the passenger front windshield. My husband says he sees them all the time now. I did like the rear Zero Emission plates though.

I took delivery of my model 3 yesterday. I love the car. Delivery guy was rush and did not spend any time explaining anything and just wanted us to drive it off.

Few things i noticed after reaching home.

1. Couple doors and trunk needs to be slammed to get them to close completely. Has anyone had this issue?

2. There was no monroney sticker in the car. I noticed it while driving out, and asked another tesla representative on the door and he said everything os online. Is that how ot should be? I am not able to find it anywhere.

I just felt they were too busy and wanted to just deliver as many as they can.

.

Seems tesla doesn’t lubricate hinges (delivery centers job maybe?)... Slamming doors was an issue for me and a week or too after delivery hinges were squeaking real bad. You could take it to service center for them to fix, but i just got some lithium spray on grease at auto parts store sprayed my doors and trunk, work in the hinge by opening and closing many times, fixed nicely!

So I picked up my car on 3/28. There was a scratch on one of the headlights and I told my delivery specialist and he said I would be contacted when they get the part to replace it. Car was pretty dirty and had dirt and dust between the doors, handles, and headlights. No red carpet or anything was rolled out for me. I was the only one there to pick up a car at that time. My car was just sitting in the parking lot. I was really excited about the car, and I accepted delivery but then I noticed imperfections when I got home. The rear passenger side headliner was loose and I completely missed that during delivery somehow. A lot of the rubber door/window lining was crinkled. The worst part is when I went to charge it at night, and it wouldn't charge. My cousin also has a Model 3 and I tried his charging cable and it charged. I thought my charging cable was busted so I went back to Tesla Friday morning. They tested my charging cable and said it was 100% working and that maybe I didn't insert the cables completely. Went back home and tried to charge again and it worked. I was glad, but then I unplugged for a bit and when I plugged it back in, it didn't work again. I was getting frustrated and confused about what was happening. I scheduled service to fix the headliner and rubber lining issues but the nearest appointment in on April 8th. I then tried my uncle's charging cable and it didn't work either, so my theory of my cable being busted was wrong. Both my cable and my uncle's cable didn't work on my car, but they both worked on his car. Someone from Tesla then called me saying they could fix my headliner and rubber issues with a mobile tech. He asked for pictures and then I also mentioned my problem with my charge port. Upon further inspection, my charge port wasn't latching on to t he charging cable. Service guy emailed me after seeing the pictures I sent him and said he could send a mobile tech to fix those issues and asked it that was what I wanted. I said yes and asked when I would be scheduled for that, but he never responded. Saturday afternoon I still received no word from him, so I emailed him again saying I need my charge port fixed ASAP otherwise I can't drive my car. Still no response. After going back and forth quickly on Friday and feeling hopeful, he just stopped answering me. Now Tesla is closed and they are closed on Sundays so hopefully I get a response on Monday. Otherwise I'm calling them or driving up there to talk to someone to fix my charge port. So here I am sitting unable to charge my car at all, hoping something happens Monday. I absolutely love the drive of the car, but this poor communication is frustrating.

This is the Paramus, NJ Tesla.

I got my purchase docs by email but no Monroney sticker. I just went into my SC and they printed one out - full size (11” x 17”). You may be able to get them to email you a pdf.

The car doors will be a bit stiff closing at first, that or it's just getting use to closing a different car door. I had to close mine a bit harder than I did with my previous car but don't feel that it's necessary any longer. Others have made this comment too.

I got my car this morning!!! I love it... I was a bit put off by the fact the car was not clean and it looks like someone put their dirty hands on the cloth side door panel near the seat belt. My husband was able to clean it off and my DS apologized. I saw a bit of a buckle on the rubber near the door, but I don't think that's an issue. Took a drive for lunch and very happy with the feel and the ride. Sounds system is awesome.

BTW correction to my Calif delivery post. At a Supercharger location now and just saw a new Model 3 pull into a space. Paper plate on back. Did notice the red and clear sticky vinyl sticker on their passenger windshield. A MS just passed by with the same paper plate and red sticker. Maybe cars are still getting them.

Just wanted to follow up.

Got my LR Thursday night. Delivery was smooth, staff was very friendly to my family. Guy explaining the car was great. Whole process took maybe an hour.

After delivery drove it straight to a shop for clear bra, window tint, and chrome delete. Didn’t see the car again until Sunday. That was a long few days.

Got the car back and finally had a chance to drive it. Amazing car!

Other than the whole MR discountuation and repeated back and forth because of it, pretty painless process. Didn’t notice any defects at delivery or since.

My car (LR RWD, white/white, aero's)was delivered yesterday around noon. (I live in Palm Springs, CA.) Upon inspection, two things were observed: First, the front hood (frunk) was badly aligned and had a significantly larger gap on one side than the other. Even the delivery person said "Yes, that's pretty noticeable", and placed it, along with the passenger side front door, on a list to be addressed. The passenger side front door's trim was higher and badly failed the credit card test. There was also minor misalignment in the glass roof panel, but nothing too noticeable. My car came with 2 "Model 3" license plate frames mounted and temp plates - you can bet I'll be removing the front one. I was told that my car would gain 3 mph from the included 110 charger, but, I found it's more like 5.75 mph - which greatly pleased me. My car had 11 miles on it at delivery.

Overall, I am happy. I expected a couple of panel fitment issues, and believe these will be addressed. I've never owned a car with regenerative braking, and so getting used to the feeling that a brake has been applied when I let off the gas is going to be an adjustment for me. I will also be obtaining the Tesla sun-shades, because I can already tell the Palm Springs summer sun will destroy my range if I'm forced to use the A/C enough to compensate for the glass roof's unchecked transmission of heat.

The car, at this point, still has only 27 miles on it, so I'll be driving it more today and reporting back on any further issues I encounter.
