Me thinks Lucid should concentrate on ramping up production and delivery of the existing inventory backorders before developing new (sub) models. They have lowered 22 projections (which they likely won't meet) to a paltry 12,000 cars. Makes Rawlinson's dig at Tesla about how they wouldn't experience Production Hell look obtuse. Lucid already won on range so don't get farther into a pissing contest when you are running on an empty bladder.

We know the Saudi's have "deep pockets" and are easily influenced by shiny toys but Lucid still needs to deliver cars and not make new announcements.

Awaiting Elon’s order to put 4th motor on the Plaid. Few other goodies as well.
[crazy thoughts for a "few other goodies"]Maybe in a few months we could get a quad motor with 4680/150ish kWh pack, over 1000kW/1350HP, carbon fiber brakes (so can also retake Nürburgring from Porsche and kill 2 birds) and maybe even a mini SpaceX package with a rear firing cold gas truster for 0-60 in <1.5s.

isnt 2 motors enough?? Our 2017 s is plenty fast 0-60
Well......the Plaid S and X have 3 motors and are quicker....so..... Also there is another advantage besides acceleration. Torque vectoring. The Rivian R1T has 4 motors and this also offers another HUGE advantage unrelated to cars. It can replace locking differentials with near 100% control of each wheel.
