Noticed that there are tons of these 90Ds out there. Seems like they are all cream interior.

Wonder why Tesla is still making 90D's?

These all have black interior....?

weird they're making 90d's again - same config.

I just stopped by my SC and they did a search and indeed did find many new S90Ds coming off the line today, all with the 7.5k discount. Many colors, all textile interior, EAP, no PUP, APH3.

My 75D order was an exact match spec-wise and for 5k more, this was an easy up sell. I guess it will also arrive early as my custom order was not quite in production yet.

Just as an info point, this is the battery sticker that's on my S90D delivered today. Looks like PN1088790-00-A. I know some peeps keep up with this stuff.

"If I was Tesla" then I would pull the ability to configure a 90 off the website before I ran out of supply of 90 packs. I would then build some (70%?) of the packs remaining into vehicles after the backorders of 90 cleared, and put them into the demo / loaner fleet to sell off.

This approach is much simpler than turning off the website configuration for 90 when (nearly) out of 90 packs. You don't have to sell "soft limited" 100s, deal with calling customers offering upgrades before delivery, etc.

I guess what I'm saying is that I don't find it surprising.
