That said, I'm almost 1000 miles into this thing and I'm having the best time ever:

I'm in Tyler, Texas. Took about 2 weeks to get here from Cleveland.

I'm jealous of your blue! - I originally had a custom order in for a blue on white premium 75D but this 90D ended up being less than the 75D after the discount so I went for the better value.

Hmm. I'm test driving a 90D tomorrow that's available for purchase. Originally thought I would just custom order a 75D and cross my fingers that I luck into an upgraded interior if they launch one in the next couple of months.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't use a referral with CPO's?

I believe you are correct. Only new Model S and X vehicles per the Tesla referral program support page:

Yes, referrals can be used on inventory cars.

100% can. I bought an inventory car and used a code. I did have to call back after delivery to get the free Supercharging enabled, but the $1000 came off obviously before delivery.
