2 weeks ago our P85D got the Ludicous upgrade. Holy cow, it's so much more fun than Insane Mode and has made driving it feel like it's brand new again.

We were running in the 320 range for months, now it's in the 400s. But that's ok. It'll come back down later on, but for now we are having a blast exercising the incredible acceleration it provides.

My average wh / mile has actually gone down since getting Ludicrous. Probably due to torque sleep improvements in one or more of the 3 software updates I've gotten since getting Ludicrous.

I had a loaner P85D and insane was enough to have me giggling. What does ludicrous do to your tires? Maybe AWD is easier on tires than RWD. With 21" wheels I have been through a few sets on my S85

I can definitely tell the tires have a more difficult time putting ludicrous to the ground, so end result will definitely be more tire wear. But, I'm not launching the car everyday 10 times a day either.

    No, of course not!
That is why you've been making these quite modest posts about it.

Ok, maybe a few times a day when the surroundings allow for it.

So, just to be certain I understand: My lifetime wHm to date is 321. I can expect my typical consumption to rise to, say, 450 or so after?

I've been enjoying Ludicrous for about 8000 miles now and my avg wHm is 347. But I don't "launch" that often. I just think it's more a matter of the traffic moving at 75/80mph on average
