Tesla P100D Ludicrous Plus + is Here
Peak Motor Power: 161 kW front, 354 kW rear
Peak Batt Power: 573 kW
(at 3:34 mark)
nice! i like the battery temp and performance readouts on the dash.
has anyone checked to see if this is available on P90DL cars?
they should give it to us too!!!
I got an update this morning, but the version number is different from the Drag Times video. I got 2.52.36. On TeslaFi it looks like 6 of us have it so far, all P100D models. Not sure if the easter egg is included in this version or not. The only things listed in the release notes were the supercharger amenities, fob linked profiles and 5 band EQ (which I already had from my previous update).
Why not give it a try and let us know if it is there.
...now, how do we get those "extra" 58 kW to the wheels?!
Thanks figs, great review as always.
I'm surprised to see that pop up message, with so unprofessional answer options.
not going to happen.
are you guys not aware of power limitation issues?
So when does (or how long does it take for) a PxxxD to become more like a SxxxD? | Tesla Motors
uhhhhh watch the video first?
oh I'm aware lol. still its a cool IC upgrade.
Impressive. Are we restricted to a certain number of uses (countergate)?
It is a nice feature to have the peak kW displayed, a good gesture on Tesla's part.
A bit slick outside in my area to try the new update. Anyone get the 2.4?
You are surprised by a company that wants to spell SEXY with their vehicle model line and "Ludicrous" for a drive mode?
As others have said, I would be happy with the UI update.
just checked my P100D. no update yet. still putting out "only" 750hp.
I doubt the 90's receive anything as they are already taking power from those vehicles after X amount of WOT and launches bc of mechanical failures due to the stress. I was told by SC that the 100's can handle the power much better and the wire looms hold up as well.
Yet the ludicrous plus screen plainly says will cause "accelerated ware of the motor gearbox and battery...". The service center has no idea what they are talking about the real answers are from Tesla's engineers and should be made public rather then leaving owners unaware of the consiquences or counters and triggers!!!
And where the volume "goes to 11"??
<press button on the steering wheel>
"Feature Request: I want to see the diagnostic screens of L+ mode during normal, non-plus, driving."
<release button on the steering wheel>
yea, that would be nice.... I would like to see that numbers, but won't drive around in max battery ready mode all the time to see them...
