Lug Nut Size

I'm changing the wheels on my MX. They are the standard 20" rims that came with the car.

I was told that the lug nut size was 13/16, so I ordered that size socket. It is way too small.

Does anyone know what the actual size is?

Did you remove the chrome lug nut caps?

If your nuts are deformed from impact wrench use, then you will need 22mm and replace the deformed ones.

That said, the new nuts are more solid and will not deform. If you need to replace with the new ones, they are cheap and replace them all.

this is the correct answer. once I remove the caps the 13.16 fits.
