Supercharger - Lusk, WY

Went through there last week and everything is good. People at hotel were very friendly. Seemed like a decent place to stay if overnighting there. We just walked around a bit and talked to gentleman working the front desk.

We're planning on eating dinner there with the little kids.. looks like there are two coffee shop slash cafes, a Subway, and a pizza place. Fingers crossed, we're bringing food from home for the road trip so hopefully we get full bellies somehow.

I've never been shut out at Lusk. No evidence of the flood around the chargers that I could see.

Right. The flood was further east. However, there are limited amenities, so time it to not get there at mealtimes, or bring picnic food.

On Plugshare, user Mark reported last week that he was able to charge successfully so I would assume it's working fine.

That was me!!. And the guy at the hotel said the pizza place was very good and the place to eat at. Looked like it was ago 6 blocks away or so. The hotel is on the edge of town, and the town itself actually looked nice. We were there around noon and their was a line out the door of the subway!!

And just saw you had little kids as well. The hotel has a great play area for kids. Swings, sandbox, shuffleboard, basketball court, etc... With some chairs outside to sit in. My wife was even on the swing!

Yup, great little place. I've made it a point to stay at the hotel during charging stops, they deserve a reward for being one of the very first places to sign up for Supercharger hosting. They're good people and the hotel is a decent place to stay.

Lusk was actually perfect for the kids - great little playground, and the hotel has vending machines for soda. We didn't eat in town. Thanks !

The Triangle 4 Cafe was decent and it's a little closer.

The Lusk Supercharger is showing as "Reduced Service" on the navigation screen at the moment; I spoke to Tesla and apparently two of the chargers aren't working properly and they've blocked it out. They recommended using ports 1A and 2B, which are still working at a good speed.

Charged at Lusk with our 2012 Signature Edition P85 and maximum speed was 50kW. After adding 20% it stopped. Unplugged and then plugged back in to complete charge to 90% to reach destination. This was using 1A.

Probably until somebody has to get towed to Denver. Two of those chargers were messed up when I was there in May.

I’ll be driving thru there tomorrow on my way to Custer. Any updates since 9/8?

At 1A, started at 50kw, so I was able add enough charge to make it to Custer with a 20% buffer.

During recent road trip including to/from Rapid City SD we stopped here both directions. It's a funny old SC but worked great for us to get further along. We travel with 3 dogs and they enjoyed the grassy area while we waited. Sorry I didn't know charging speed etc. but I also don't remember any issues/problems.
