I reached out to the town and they said:

"Tesla inquired about siting a charging stations at Market Street. They were offered to appear before the Planning Board and we placed it on our agenda, but Tesla never responded and never appeared."

Looks like 'Target opening by end of 2017' isn't likely then.

Nothing really new just confirmation of the above update ..
    From meeting minutes
"Tesla has plans to add super charging stations at Market Street in a few select locations. B. Charville confirms plans have been discussed at Planning Board level, but no recent approvals or decisions have been made."

Still no movement on the Lynnfield Supercharger. Minutes from February:
    3. TESLA CHARGING STATION, MARKET STREET

No representative for Tesla was present. The matter was not taken up

I cannot find anything about Burlington online, assume also no action under way.
Not sure we will see any supercharger in this area in 2018

Because pins tend to shift around, unless we find out otherwise, I think the consensus here on the forum is that the permitted site in Woburn became the Burlington site.

It would be nice to be wrong and we get both, but the Woburn site is still very accessible.

Any updates on this? Guessing it'll be pushed to sometime in 2019 at this rate.

Could be sooner. I was there on November 3 and the area where to supercharger are supposed to be built was blocked of. There were no other signs of supercharger constructions, though.

Stopped by the Market Street location this evening - no sign of any construction and the area shown in the plan was completely occupied by shoppers. If it's built to plan, it seems likely there will be issues with ICEing during holiday shopping season.

It's under 10 miles along 95/128 from the Woburn site. At first thought it seems odd to have two Supercharger locations so close to each other, but Woburn is better suited to northbound 95/128 access and is near 93, while Lynnfield is better for 95 southbound.

Yeah, just checked it out a couple days ago and no construction or anything has started yet. Oh well, maybe they're just waiting for Supercharger V3 to be announced and this will be a V3 ready charge station. A man can dream. :)

The one in Hudson, MA just had a bunch of equipment dropped off yesterday. I haven't had a chance to check it out, but someone posted pics in the thread about it. I'm hoping it's a V3 when it goes live. I wouldn't mind the theoretical 626mph of charging up to 50% SoC. :D:D:D

There is a model 3 that parks 1 parking spot away from this future supercharger location almost everyday. Must be just waiting for the supercharger to eventually be installed...

Baby steps! First signs of construction? Orange spray paint delineating the area where the cabinets will be located (see previous plan .pdf). They’ll need to remove these 3 parking spaces so the cut marks appear to have been layed out. Not pictured is a dotted white line that seems to indicate the footprint of the would be construction area. And a couple of us hangin in our future supercharger spots!
