Ummm... yes... and terrible parking.![]()
Hooksett?
But there is definitely a hugeeeee dead spot on 495, 95, and 3.
What is really funny is it looks like someone who looked at Boston on a map placed all these and said, we are covered! But any local realizes incredibly popular areas are completely dead, i.e. the complete route to NH in any direction (minus seacoast), which is a hugeee commuting population. Live in any of the populated parts of northern MA or NH, tough luck.
Until Woburn (or Burlington). Honestly I am ecstatic for Lynnfield, but if this means Burlington/Woburn does not happen, that will be a huge hole still.
I will pay, when my account credit runs out. But I've charged here 3 times now, and no sign that it is deducting from my available free supercharger credits.Do you pay for charging or have free charging?
Not being a local, and with this Supercharger not showing up on the map in the car yet it makes it a bit more challenging to actually find this place when you get to this mall. But I want to thank the folks who posted some good pics in this thread as that is how I managed to get over to this place once I got here. Of course this picture I took would not help anyone...but the one I posted on Plugshare (hopefully that works out) will. The black bag is still covering something...and one cone left...but it charged up just fine.

Plugshare does have the supercharger in the correct location. Always useful to check their crowdsourced info when visiting any charger for the first time.
I live in a condo, however it worked out well because my parking spots are near my unit. I have the ability to charge, but on a regular 120 outlet. I haven't been able to figure out how to get 240 close to the car. I charge at home when I'm in a bind, but I use faster chargers when I can.Oh, ok. So I assume you don't have access to charging where you live.
I’m guessing this location will be busier than all the other metro Boston chargers.
It's called a Knox Box. It's a mini-safe that the local Fire Department or Police has a key for. For commercial buildings, it usually contains a set of keys to let them get into the building and past any barriers inside even if they're locked. This particular type [pdf warning], as you correctly guessed, has a remote power disconnect.Mystery solved - the box looks like it’s a quick disconnect for power. Strangely it’s locked so maybe the fire department has the key?
