M3 2018 lr awd 19" sport rims most comfortable tire

I am looking for the largest tire size on that would fit on the 19" sport rims

I am looking for a softer ride and wider sidewall

I have the factory spec tires on the 19" sport rim

You can go up to 245/40/19 with minimal impact on speedometer readout and range. Should be more comfortable and better sidewall protection depending on the tire you choose.

To keep the same overall diameter, you would need to go to 265. But then you'd be dropping down the 35 profile sidewall, which s not ideal if you're chasing comfort.
