M3 Front Plate in Seattle Area

Several months of no plate and no issues here. Didn’t have any questions crossing the border back from a trip to YVR either (besides a comment about my personalised plate).

Non-Tesla driver: haven't had a front plate on any of my daily-driver cars since I've been here... but that's only eight and a half years or so.

Have gotten pulled over for lack of a front plate twice, once this month. Have gotten one ticket several years ago. Got some grief from customs when re-entering the US from Canada once at a non-Nexus checkpoint.

Model S, 4 years old now, never had a front plate. Never been pulled over, never got a ticket. I live in Federal Way and rarely drive into Seattle or Bellevue/Redmond.

Well we got our Model 3 in December the day we were driving up to Vancouver.

So no front or rear plate, just the temporary number inside. The Canadian agent got out to check it out and had nothing else to say. Don't have a front plate as of now (plates arrived in the meantime of course, and the rear one is installed) , and going again to Vancouver in May, not planning to install one.

Seattle resident here, my cars have been parked on the street since 2014 with no front plates. No tickets.
