Thought i'd post this here. I opened the frunk to install an aftermarket leaf filter. Upon trying to close the hood it would latch, but not close.
Opened and closed it, removed the filter cover and filter, googled it, tried again, sat on the hood (lightly), tried everything. Found a thread about disabling the primary latch and made a service appointment (8 days away!) which made me look closer at the latches. After having spent an hour of trying to get the primary latch to engage, I jigged the lower latch and finally got it to work.
If you press unlock or the unlock button, you can see the latch marked (1) open. close/open lower latch (2) to "reset" it.
