M3 Premium System EQ Bands and Sub Level Control

Not sure how many this will help or who will find it interesting but here you go:

After some RTA testing, as far as I can tell, the EQ in the M3 Premium system is a 5 band EQ with a Q of about 0.66 (2 octave) that affects the following bands:

Treble: 5kHz - 16kHz
- 1.6kHz - 5kHz
Mid: 400Hz - 1.25kHz
- 100Hz - 315Hz
Bass: 31Hz - 100Hz

5kHz and 100hZ overlap between bands.

The Sub output is 125Hz and below and is controlled by the new Sub Level Control

It's a 2022 M3 LR and I used the Audio Control SA-4100i:

As for the way I tested to see what each slider affected, I lowered them all to the bottom. I then raised only one at a time to full and compared which bands were affected. In each case I could see that 6 frequency bands were boosted. For example, here is an overlay with only the Bass, Mid and Treble sliders all the way up. You can see there is about 15dB range from Cut to Boost:

I was playing around similarly a bit over a week ago using Android AudioTool. I'm not 100% sure, but I had concluded that the EQ still affected sub. Your thoughts?

Corndog, you are correct, the Bass and Midbass sliders both affect the sub.
