Has any one used a portable radar detector on a M3 windshield yet? Wondering if it is a problem with the glass that is being used. If so what brand? and did you hard wire the install?

I've done a lot of research on this, and I can't point exactly to where I read it without redoing all of my research, but the short answer is that there is no metallic UV coating on the windshield, so a windshield mounted detector will not be crippled. I'm looking forward to hardwiring my V1 with a dedicated YaV1 display phone on the center console.
