As you might expect, the SR will be hidden online. You'll have to talk to a sales advisor to order it.

My speculation is that they'll drop the SR+ price to around 47K for the upsell.

It was a mistake. The range is 150 km.

Roulezelectrique first did a post on Facebook saying it was 350km but removed it and updated it a few minutes later. I will add the screenshots...

Really makes you wonder if Tesla really would release a $25K USD EV when they can’t even sell a $35K USD one.

I wonder if you could just not update the car when you take delivery. (Also disable the tracking or whatever that option is called).

Nope. Unless you pulled the LTE SIM card and never connect to WiFi -- there is ZERO chance that you would not get the update. It is a silent config provision and not an update.

And even if you were to not do such update -- most of us purchased before the V10 update and you can see how it can be bad for the battery pack if you didn't have this update as mentioned in this article https://skie.net/skynet/projects/tesla/view_post/23_Explaining+Changes+post-firmware+2019.16+Regarding+Range+Loss
