M3 SR+ tyre rotation

Car’s hitting the 5K mark and thinking of a tyre rotation. Is there a recommendation in Melbourne?
Whilst it is fairly standard, would still prefer a tyre place that is familiar with the watch outs when lifting up a Tesla.
Ultimately the same place to swap tyres when the time comes.

Tesla did mine at 10,000 km cost was $34.50

Tyre shop will do it for $20ish. They want an opportunity to inspect brake pads and upsell.

I rotate mine at 10k, just done my 3rd.
Local beaurepairs, $20 for rotation $40 with balance. I was their first Tesla so bought my own pucks with me and took of the centre caps on the 19” wheels.
They’re all over it now now, I just drive in and they do it like any other car. I just love watching the floor guys face when he sees the white seats and then looks down to his overalls.

i have white seats too. Great to hear some are familiar with Teslas.

Switch sentry mode off! I made that mistake once & had to frantically cancel the car alarm on my iPhone from the tyre shop’s loo!

And if you have air suspension (S/X), put the car in jack mode first!

Just had first service and Tesla advised not to bother with tyre rotation as most tread left is on the front where it should be.

lol oh don't worry, even for Tesla it's still a thing.

Been over two years of ownership so it was due.

Yeah, same. $109.60 at the local Tesla service centre for a brake fluid check and a pair of new wiper blades. Oh the horror!
