M3P brake pad composition

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is any metallic aspect to the brake pads for the M3P+?

Concerned if the brake dust will land on the white paint and leave the rust pitting/spotting that most white vehicles with semi metallic or "semi ceramic" pads. Also. Has anyone had confirmation for a corrosion/rust warranty?

All brake pads have some metal in them. Plus the rotors themselves are metal and they wear too (just not as quickly unless you run a super aggressive pad compound). You will end up with fallout rust spotting on the car's paint regardless of what brake pads are used. It comes from many sources and is easily removed by decontaminating the paint with an iron remover, clay bar or both. Tesla has a lifetime limited sheetmetal warranty, but rust spotting from iron particles that land on the paint would not be a warranty issue as it's simply paint contamination that can be easily removed.
