It is sad that it is legal to post articles and "survey" results without a disclaimer that they are advertisements paid by Ford Motor Co. It is sad that people will believe such ridiculous claims and then run away from EVs when they find the car they buy is not what they expected based on such misinformation. Driver's Choice 2021 Best Performance Car Any thoughts?
you can google: truth in advertising law For a good laugh - you should check out the above Ad. thanks @alexgr Rate by stupidity - well, let us not be negative - how would you rate by intelligence? - Those that wrote the above Ad. - Those that read the above Ad looking for information. - Those that use the above Ad to buy a vehicle. - Those that bother to write a reply when they should be sleeping. No apparent bounds to Madison Ave. Ads nor bound to those corporate leaders that are shaping vehicle buyers. Small wonder US stock market is skyrocketing to new heights. thanks alexgr, I was luckily not having a coffee when I read. Was it a surprise reading about how the FTC protects us all from Ads?
I would say the Mach-E, and the Model S both don't deserve to be in that company...but both are great cars which are stupid fast in a straight line. In the end these types of "winner" comparos (automobiles, phones, computers, vendors) only narrow down the field for me. Then it's up to me which I like better after trying each out and see which one *I* like best.
It does look like some goofy survey - but I'm sure you can load up a bunch of votes for the Model S if you're that upset about the Mach E topping the list. We should all be glad that more competitive EV alternatives are showing up in 2021. I'm looking forward to test-driving a Mach E, and would like to drive an ID4 when those show up, along with the Ariya.
