I read this thread when it first came out, have driven my car twice every day and I STILL keep forgetting to check.

I had a check of my M3LR, MIC and it has a fog light button on the OSD and fog lights that light up when I press the button...

Front fogs, maybe worth seeing if they're cornering lights. On the MS and MX they light up on the appropriate side when the headlights are on and you're turning a corner. I can't actually see anywhere they say they are front fog lights on the website

Don’t those double up as foglights on cars that have them fitted? i.e. they’re cornering lights when not switched on as foglights?

I didn't notice them as cornering lights last night when I popped out about 9pm.

If the fog lights on M3 are suitable for use as turning/cornering lights, it would be good if this functionality could be enabled on the M3. I always thought that the idea of turning/cornering lights was a bit daft, but having needed to turn into the shadows a few times with the M3, I can now see some benefit.

Could you take a photo of the OSD, please? You mention a “fog light” button. Is that a “Rear fog” (as I have), “Front fog” (which I don’t have) or an overall “Fog lights” button?

Yeah, I too much prefer the ancient lighting like we had when I were a lad... proper candle lights, none of this LED malarkey...

Just checked mine - also have the front fog lights button.

Update in relation to the missing front fog button. Just had a call from my local Tesla SC. They’ve confirmed it’s a configuration issue and they’re pushing a remote config update to sort it out. Ranger appointment not required.

Picked up my car this morning - front fogs present at pickup on the 2020.47.X shopping firmware and still there after 2021.4.11 update.

has it been confirmed if LR get ambient/ancient lighting on 2021 models? Thought Tesla scrapped it
