MagSafe charger for M3/MY?

I use a Brodit mount behind the steering wheel. It only works for me in landscape mode. You buy a holder for your phone and then a mount for the car and attach them together. There is another mount other than the one I’ve got and they do them in both RHD & LHD. They aren’t cheap, but I’ve used them on a few cars now.

I’ve got a 2020 pre-refresh M3 and I run the cable into the cigarette lighter power socket along side the centre console. I took the side of the centre console off to hide it.

For those interested I went with the Brodit (Brodit UK ProClip and Brodit Holders) mount with the MagSafe adapter on my 2022 Model Y.

The cables I used for connecting the Apple MagSafe adapter to the car were the following:
- Fasgear USB C to USB C Cable... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08FWX38YY
- GodSpin USB C Coupler, Female to Female Adapter [2 Pack] USB-C Type C USB 3.1 Extender Extension Connector, Transfer Data 10Gbps and 100W Power for Laptop, Smartphone, Tablet [Fast Charging] https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083PZYRJR

Note the USB-C coupler appears to only work in one orientation, so you may need to turn it over. Test before you put it in the car.

This is then routed down the side of the centre console (tucked under the trim) and then connected to one of the high power USB-C ports at the back.

Note - the USB-C cable I got from Amazon is a bit long, so there is also some slack tucked into the trim. You may be able to get away with a shorter cable.
