We are leaving on a trip tomorrow and to prepare we charged the Tesla to 100% so we can make it further. It got to 100% way earlier than we expected. Is it a problem if we keep it plugged in and charged at 100% all night long?
Slightly better to plan for the charge to finish in the morning close to your departure time. If you really can't, keep it to 100% for the night. As Zoomit says, don't do too often for long periods.
Kind of related but I read somewhere on here that it is good to charge to 100% every so often to help with the battery range setting. Any truth to that?
I have had my new S since June and charge to 85% daily and 95% on trip mornings. Have had it now for almost 30k miles since June. Only down to belwo 15% once or twice. Good practices or not?
