Maintaining radio volume with doors open

This has undoubtedly been asked before, but couldn't find anything via search. I would like to maintain my radio volume with the driver (or any door) open. I'm pretty annoyed at this lower volume "feature" when you open the door - why did tesla do this? Doesn't matter; but I want this feature turned off permanently, if possible.

Yep. Same happens when you put the car in reverse. I don’t see a way around it.

The car will maintain two volume levels IIRC. One is the volume level during normal play and a second one when the door is opened.
Open your door, and set the volume to where you want it when the door is opened.
The next time you open the door, it should change to the new level - which might still be different than your normal listening level, but you can adjust the two to be closer together, so there's less of a change when the door is opened.
