Maintenance questions and reminders

1) Is there a way to set up reminders for maintenance items? Most cars now a days have a way to set this up, like for tire rotation (6250 miles), clean and lubricate brake calipers(12500 miles), brake fluid check (2 years), cabin air filter replacement (2 years), A/C bag replacement (6 years).

2) Can tire rotation [winter/summer tire swap] be done in a regular garage [since the battery is at the bottom] or better to take it to Tesla only?

Tesla asks that you pay for an annual service... in 8 years, I’ve done 3. Nothing really to be done.

Any tire place can rotate tires. Wouldn’t hurt to ask if they are familiar with Teslas in advance.

How? Message on the screen? Do they call you? Send an email? I'm not familiar with this.

They "suggest" annually or every 12,000 miles.

If you're that concerned, set up a reminder on your phone.

If you have a dual motor model, tire rotation is rarely needed - this from Tesla when I went to have it done. I am at 30K miles and will likely replace them before I end up rotating them.

If Tesla does not have a way to remind then I may have to set up phone reminders. If the car can remind you, one can set up alerts for a preset mileage to alert us. Most ICE cars have them. I think it is useful.

Thanks. Here we have a lot of snow and so tire rotation helps with tread wear and ice/snow grip. Obviously the snow tires do a better job.
