So this has been happening for a few weeks on and off. I normally wouldn't notice it until freeway speeds. I went to America's Tire and they found that the wheels needed to be balanced. That worked for about a few miles then it started again! Super annoyed, since this only happens at 65+. Tesla first said that the tech's wouldn't be able to test above that speed so I was a bit annoyed. I made an appointment at Tesla regardless but it was booked for a few weeks out so I figured this was a safety concern at this point and it needs to be looked at right away.
So I went into the service center this week and they found that the FOAM in the tire was causing the issues. I'm not sure how the foam can get damaged but that is what happened.
So if you fall into a similar scenario and your wheel balance checks out, have them look at the FOAM inside the tire.
Cheers!
