...or it could be a justified self defense shooting and the law abiding citizen reported the situation once they felt safe. Let's not rush to judgement in a complete vacuum of evidence or facts. Not everyone with a firearm is a bad guy regardless of Hollywood indoctrination. My thoughts go out to parties & families involved.

Disappointing to hear of this. While not clear, it doesn't appear any Tesla owners were involved. Roped off area looks like two ICE cars.

It's definitely worse now.
Grocery store employees used to stop people from stealing carts of food. Now they are instructed to let them go after 2 employees were shot (1 died) in separate incidents last year.

There's no reason to feign ignorance and pretend the ongoing escalation of America's autoerotic gun culture didn't play a role here.
Argue with someone at a charger? Get shot and die.
Drive down the wrong driveway? Get shot and die.
Knock on the wrong door by accident? Get shot and die.
Go to sleep in your own bed on the wrong night? Get shot and die.
Go buy a pack of Skittles at the corner market? Get shot and die.
When guns kill more kids in the US than literally anything else, the "good guy with a gun" BS rings more hollow than ever.
"These kids today" are the ones bearing the brunt of our endless stupidity, not the perpetrators.
