The processor that handles the user interface is an Intel Atom which is a low performance CPU meant for netbooks. In the new S and X they are switching to a highperformance AMD processor so that you go like a bat out of hell.
Don't take my word for it, then.... Research it a bit, and let us know what you think.
I have done some coding in a past life. There are
so many things to deal with in a cell network and lot of layers.
Faster CPU's do not make writing Emails faster. There are a lot
of interlocks that must be respected. I think we are just at the
beginning so I will have a Jack and see where we end up.
