    Hello all.

We have arranged for a group trip to the Nethercutt Museum and Collection
in Sylmar for March 28th. We are setup for a group tour of the collection
at 1:30 pm. Separately, the museum is a self guided tour. See below for a
description of the collection and museum.

The Nethercutt is requesting an estimate of how many cars and people will
be attending, so we need anyone interested in going to please signup via
the google link below. feel free to bring as many people as you can fit
in your car. The tour is free.

We are still in the planning stages of the day however for your planning
it is approximately 69 miles from John Wayne Airport to the Nethercutt. My
thought is to arrive early enough to walk through the museum on our own,
before our 1:30 tour of the collection
My initial thought is to meet at the portola coffee company in costa mesa
and depart as a group around 8:30 AM. We could drive to the Redondo Beach
Supercharger and have a group breakfast at the hotel(Hilton Garden Inn)
while we charge up our cars ( of course swapping so that everyone gets a
charge). depart the Superchargers at approximately 10:30 arriving at the
Nethercutt at 1115-1130. Leaving us time to walk around the museum before
    our 1:30 tour.
Drive home after tour will be on your own.

Great plan, Mark. (he did most of the heavy lifting folks).

Since I live North of the Portola Coffee area we'll probably join you for breakfast at the Redondo Beach SC or (if I'm running late at the Nethercutt..) Sam C (who just RSVPd) lives really close to the RB SC and is thinking to meet up with the group there.

The museum and collection look very interesting.

Mark needs to get a count in to the Nethercutt... If you've already signed up, please verify at which point you'll be joining the group (Costa Mesa/Portola Coffee, Redondo Beach Supercharger, or the Nethercutt)

Great trip! Thanks Mark for making the arrangements, and thanks Dennis for the photos. As a life long "car guy" I must admit the collection of musical instruments collection was equally if not more impressive as the automobile collection. My apologies to Mr. Duesenberg, et, al.

thanks Sam. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience in the museum and collection. and i admit when we walked up to the music floor i was thinking "oh boy" this should be over soon, but end ended up thoroughly enjoying it. but that Duesenberg in the window display in the museum was truly a pleasure to look at!!

It's a GM EV 1. Didn't get the backstory on how they had one. Know that a few people were able to keep them from gm destroying theirs.
