Most major on-line tire companies like Tire Rack, Discount tire, etc. allow you to set up a comparison chart among up to 3 alternatives, but they don't include rolling resistance. During a chat with Michelin, they were able to quantify "Fuel Efficiency", so I used their data to make the following table for the Michelin tires under consideration. Unfortunately, all four have a Fuel Efficiency" of 9 and there is only one significant digit. Somewhere in this thread (cdrikari?), the cross climate, which BTW has the best Average Score, was said to have more rolling resistance than the MXM4. So I think we know more about Michelin Tire performance than they do!

I may have missed something you said earlier, but is there a reason why you're looking only at Michelins? (or am I wrong with that assumption?)

I am also looking at Pirellis. I just wanted to share the data I got from Michelin.
Replaced by 20” wheels with MW03 19” wheels. I’ve got a few miles on them now and it’s a definite improvement over the factory wheels. The ride a noticeably better.

Nice, black on red!
Mine were installed yesterday. 245/45R18 fits perfectly, they fill the wheel wells realy nice, offset is also perfect.
First impressions are positive, much better ride comfort, handling is good, also at high speed, tyres are quieter as well.

So, the newer wheels stick out .13 less? (I don't know why, but the geometry kicks my behind here)

I believe it’s in Millimeters. 7mm difference (28 vs 35 offset) is about 1/3-inch.
I intentionally went 35mm to keep the aerodynamics the same as stock. But those 1/3 wider ET28’s look really nice on the pics shown here.

Ordered these for around $73
They have worked fine for me and its my second set of them. The stem is silver but they do make a black one just more expensive.

FYI....The TPMS sensors for the M3 are not compatible with the MY. The TPMS sensors for the MY are now bluetooth and, at this point, are only available directly from Tesla for $75 each.
