New to the area. What car washes have people taken their cars to in this around here? Mostly just want to get the recent salt off the car not looking for detail work.

Flagship on Rockville Pike, near Target. I have used this car wash forever but have never taken my Model Y to an automated car wash. I would only be comfortable recommending that you use the self-service wash bays with your Tesla vehicle.

I use the I Love My Car in Germantown for my Y. No issues.

I read stories about automated car washes and Tesla not being a good match. I am not sure how much I believe the stories but I also hate washing cars as it was family time while my friends went off to have fun when I was a kid.

This led me to Mobile One Services. They come to my house and hand wash my car once a week. Very reliable. Highly recommended.
