mass cpo help cant reg. Without fully paid- how do you review auto first?

teslas cpo process is sight unseen first, maybe decide your pick is all banged up and you dont want it, but in mass you got to pay in full before you get plates , so are you stuck with auto before hand ?.
or when you get the call to pick up can you at least look it over , pay total, leave it, go get insurence and plates, come back and drive away???

I didn't buy a CPO but a relative of mine did. He said you can reject the car right on the spot and walk away. Telsa supposed to refund you after or find you another vehicle.

If you rejected the car, you don't have to register it.

You can inspect it before accepting delivery.

As far as plates go, if you are buying in MA makes sure the vehicle has plates already! Mass does not issue temporary tags. So if Tesla sells you the vehicle before the title is sorted (which they have been known to do) you could be stuck for quite some time with a car you cannot legally drive.

My CPO was shipped from TX to Dedham. They started the reconditioning in TX and finished in MA. They called me when the car arrived in Dedham. I went there, inspected it, and gave it the OK. Then I went home, paid the balance due online, and it was delivered to me.
