Yes, BMW does have an BEV, but production numbers are very low (vis a vis Tesla), and not in USA at moment.

Steve from STMP is right, those ads are completely worthless, as by the time they have BEV's people would forget the ads.

Yes, ironically they have the unintended consequence of pushing people to Tesla. BMW does have a nice electric vehicle that appears to be coming out soon, finally. I am one of these people that actually wants Tesla to have some competition because that he's going to push them to always be on the cutting edge. The cyber truck is the first example of Tesla making design changes to fit the marketplace as they have designed their trucks. The original cyber truck did not crab walk, and certainly did not have four motors so we are already seeing the positive effect of a little bit of competition.

The competition was always here, and still inferior.
Besides, it seems that what Tesla sees as competition is ICE cars, not other EV's. In the end Tesla must be better than ICE to win people to BEV
