"you'll automatically receive Version 10.2 based on your location and vehicle configuration over the next week - you can't request the update. Connect to Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot to download and install quicker. Once installed, tap the Tesla 'T' to view the release notes and learn bore about the latest update"

Looks like 10.2 mentioned in the app is what we all received today - 50.1

So the 2019.40.50 is actually also the same thing as version 10.2 then. I think that's what I was asking - because I got the update before the email.

Thanks! sorry for being slow there. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Ah yes, I see. Yeah, the V10, 10.1, etc. are the “public consumption” version numbers and don’t change with every software release. The releases are numbered YYYY.week.X.Y

So, 2019.40.50.1 is the software that was branched the 40th week of 2019. And this is “build” 50.1...

Was looking through the settings, and noticed their is now an air recycling button in the air conditioning settings. Was that always there and I was blind? Or maybe it wasn't available outside of "automatic" air conditioning settings? Its now an option to have air circulation internalized regardless of automatic climate settings?

Let's build a list of the new interesting things rendered on screen.
I see:
- garbage cans (large rectangular style ones)
- arrows painted on the road
- bicycles painted on bicycle pathway

I have just installed the new update in my model 3. I ordered it in june and picked it up in september. I have fsd but the update doesnt have any new visuals. Does this mean i dont have hardware 3? I live in the UK.

No, it means you aren't in the US. As with pretty much all Autopilot related things they come to the US long before anywhere else.

Looks like you’re in Canada. I don’t think Canadian cars got the visualization yet. Only US cars so far, I think.

Damn...didn’t realize they didn’t include Canada...not sure why...our roads, stop signs, lights are all the same...I understand waiting for Europe as many are different there.

Recirculating has always been an option on the climate screen for manual. You perhaps are seeing it now, due to them moving the different climate stay modes into the actual climate window frame, instead of the toggle being it’s own section above and outside of the climate window frame.

Have a new 2020 M3P..purchased it with FSD.

today I got my very first software update 40.50.1

release notes didn’t mention visualization preview and don’t see stop signs or street lights. Am I missing something?
I think you have to turn the visualizations on inside the autopilot settings.

Went out to the car to try it again, and now the voice system is visibly receiving input, reading it as english correctly and executing some "commands" while responding "command not recognized" to others. I was also able to dictate and send a couple of text messages flawlessly. Not sure why/how but now voice control is working.

Note: I could not turn on "Sync Messages" until Notifications were enabled on the Bluetooth connection.

It's working perfect on iMessage. Release notes could have steered us a little better.

To be fair, it does explain this in the release notes and the pop-up when you run on the option, but I agree its a convoluted process.
