My SR+ Model 3 has the new frunk. Manufactured around 9/15, delivered 9/19 in San Diego, CA. The new frunk looks exactly like the one pictured here.
Haven't heard anything as of yet. Read on a different group that last year around October the 2020 models started to roll out from Fremont. Maybe it'll be similar this year for delivery next month or December.
My 2020 was built in October 2019. Best way to know is look at your MVPA or VIN. The 10th digit of the VIN determines the model year.
Model year (MY) is strictly based on the VIN. 10th digit determines MY. Since Tesla does rolling updates there may be some 2020 with the updated frunk.
Sad situation. From Germany is coming the evidence that, depending on VINs and the E3D (82 kWh) or E5D (77 kWh) code, the car can or cannot be equipped with the 82 kWh new battery or the 77 kWh bat and have or have not the new headlight (EU models). The latter seems to start from VIN 820XX And i've got a 2021 with E5D (77 kWh) and vin 815XX so presumably without new headlight
Could you provide more details? I know there's coding that has to be done even if you swap out headlights that are "compatible" (whatever that means). I think Tesla may be able to do this over the phone, from what I've heard...
Can you please explain what parts you bought and how you installed it? I have a 2021 Model 3 LR and really want these lights
they dont do much. dont bother. if you want some optical pep get sone led strips or so for the centre console
