Update. I texted my Tesla advisor, and asked if my car will have the new heat pump. The reply came: "Yes" Happy Dance! The heated steering wheel would be nice, but I will be holding this steering wheel far less than all my previous cars. The wooden door flash accent would be even nicer, since the single plank of wood across the dash of my black on black vehicle looks a bit out of place (I was planning on swapping it out with some after market trim piece). But if that same wood accent kind of wraps around the front of the car (ie, from one door, across the dash, to the other door), then it's a decorative accent that makes more sense to me. But the new heat pump - that's something that would be quite useful here in tropical Ohio.
I agree 100%. If they add the wood accents on the doors, I’ll leave it. Otherwise I’ll be forced to wrap, cover, or replace the dash strip. Also hoping for the heated steering wheel! Tim
I'm seeing reports of the heated steering wheel starting to show up in US MY LR so perhaps it'll be coming to the M3 shortly. Here's one of the reports: Goodbye Frozen Fingers: Tesla Model Y Heated Steering Wheel Is U.S., Europe-Bound (insideevs.com)
Fake news I'm afraid. It's a German who tried to turn on heater by voice command, getting a message that turning it on failed. Same thing happens on 2019 SR, it's just software
Was there any mention what car? New 2021 model? I think that all new steering wheels have this included but only on Y this is enabled right now.
There was an article over on Teslarati, January 11th, showing a heated steering wheel on a US built MY. Tim
Did you even bother reading the article(s) or watching the video? There are confirmed sightings of MY with heated steering wheel in US.
For those of you in Europe who have delayed the purchase of a M3, there's good news: Europe: Tesla Noticeably Lowers Model 3 Prices (insideevs.com) Now if they would lower the price in US, I'd be a happy camper.
Adjustable suspension coming soon ? It is in user manual... 2020.48.26 version https://twitter.com/greentheonly/status/1352052399779803142
It s all Model 3 versions, from Fremont, and perhaps some SR+ from China (?) but to be confirmed. New prices are available since yesterday in France. Very very interesting for all Model 3 versions in particular SR+.
Thanks for sharing that ... was of course hoping that the U.S. M3 would see a reduction in price as well. Alas, it sounds unlikely.
As long as demand meets (right now exceeds) supply, why would Tesla have any reason to lower their prices?
After all they have already come down since 2017? A P3D in was $75k with options in 2018, now it's $55k with AP included. My own LR RWD in 2018 was $49k with no AP, now an AWD with AP is $47K
