i was in the second batch for 10.4, but first batch for 10.5. So doesn't look like they have a specific set of people for who makes which batch

Gave it a quick test trip to a nearby shopping center and back. The verdict: MUCH improved over 10.4. Zero interventions required. It did get into a turn lane when it wasn’t supposed to but corrected itself.
Yep, my bastard is in service for the dreaded vibration issue.

Interestingly - more S/X have got 10.5 than 3/Y. Thats a first.
If FSD Beta is activated, you hit the go pedal, and then exceed 80 MPH, it's one strike.
Just completed 15 miles on 10.5 from an urban center to my suburban home. No disengagements, just 3 or 4 instances goosing the accelerator to deal with hesitation or unnecessary slowdowns. The car now mostly stays right of center in my neighborhood when there are no cars parked on the road, which is a significant improvement.
Unfortunately, it can still end up blocking the opposite side of an unmarked road when creeping forward after turning the steering in preparation for a left turn. At least it starts the turn from the correct side of the road and it's no longer playing chicken with oncoming cars on neighborhood streets. That's enough improvement for me to use it in many more situations.

Just took a 15 mile drive, except for a few light phantom slowing, no interventions.
It was a little too cautious on a upl and a upr turn. Other than that, it is not hugging the left yellow lane lines. Also not hard braking anymore. We will see if it got lucky. Driving 130 miles tomorrow. Will do it all on Fsd.

10.5 sounds promising! 10.4 got better for me after a camera calibration but still have yet to make a trip with less than 4 disengagement interventions.
It appears the have stopped deploying 10.5...issues being reported
Well I was able to install 10.5 before they pulled it. If their are issues Ill find out when I get off work.
What issues are being reported? It's definitely a long ways from perfect, but in my vast 25 minutes driving experience on 10.5, it was either about the same or significantly improved depending on the situation.

10.5 is more nauseating for me at night after a 3+3 mile round trip. The car keeps hesitating with almost every maneuver:
Stops in the middle of protected rights with mini-islands
Wanders within wide lanes more
Little bit too much boost
I am disengaging less, but overall it's not as smooth or comfortable vs 10.4.

I'm sceptical of this pull. Installations seem to be proceeding.
ps: From a few hours installed + pending has been around 360.
