Hey everyone,

Before looking into getting some new rims I was wondering if my old rims from my G35 would fit. They are 20X9 with a 30 offset on the front and 20x10.5 with a 29 offset in the rear. If not, then thinking of looking into some Advan GTs. Thanks in advance!

The poke out would be large, and I also think you'd probably have to drill out the lug holes 2mm, so I wouldn't I think it would be nearly as appealing as getting wheels with proper fitment, and most of the time you'd want actually a larger offset at the rear anyway rather than smaller. The other problem is since you're drilling out a structural area at the Hub is whether you're weakening the wheel significantly. Most of the time that's fine but it's still a consideration.

Would these tires fit a P3D?
Pirelli P Zero 255/30 R20 Run Flat tires

Rolling diameter is a bit smaller than stock so you have to deal with some loss of ride height but the bigger problem frankly is run-flat tires which are at least in my opinion a disaster from a ride standpoint. If you look at the user ratings of run-flat tires on the Tire Rack website where they have a summation of hundreds of users typically in their large-scale surveys you will see that run-flat tires consistently get the lowest ratings.

Hey everyone. Curious if anyone is currently running 21 inch wheels (in a staggered setup) on their Model3. Yes I know it would be “rubber band tires” but curious if anyone else has done it. Assume the sizes would be 255/30/21 and 285/25/21. Will 21’s fit? I ran 22’s on my Model S and soon taking delivery of a Model 3 Performance. Looking to do a similar setup.

I've never seen that either online or in person. Curious why you would want such a radical set up? I have to assume it's for an aesthetic reason that you like such a radical and large wheel? I'm sure you know that cost, unsprung weight, ride, and durability of both Wheel and Tire are all going to be traded off against that aesthetic - and I love your description of rubber band tires! That's right on! I personally think the 20-inch wheel looks great and is plenty radical enough, but obviously beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may not be so for you.
