Titan 7 O.W.L. Titanium Race Nut's. Not 100% sure I like them better than stock, to be honest. I didn't realize they would look so much smaller...they also have a ton of unused thread so I started digging into the wheel stud threads... (reposting stock wheel for easy comparison)

Continuing my lug nut journey...maybe these photos will help others so they don't have to order 7 different sets of lugs like I have...

(I apologize in advance that some photos only have 4 lugs, I was trying to keep costs down by not buying full sets when possible...)

I also tried McGard 64073, which are too large; the nut fits but you can't get a socket in. Tried McGard 65310 which are way too long, they stuck out past the wheel. It's too bad, the McGard lugs are by far the best quality, just wish they made a shorter spline lug.

Did you talk to Jamie at SignatureSales ? He’s working with a lug nut company for titanium lugs and each are TUV certified. A long 6 point and a short 12 point 19mm.

One of my specific goals is to find closed-end nuts. Which makes everything harder since almost all the "tuner nuts" are open. And if they're not open end, they're way too long!

I also think the ~19mm nuts look too small, it's the reason I didn't like the Titan 7 ones (in addition to being too long).

Also really on the fence about Titanium lugs in general. Issues with galling, torque adjustments if you use anti-seize...it's too complicated for such a critical part and not something I want to worry about.

This dude not playing games about his nuts!

I had this link saved when I was on a determined hunt for the right size lug nuts like you were. They're still titanium, but they're on the shorter end and are closed like you prefer.

Thanks!

I saw those; they're 22mm hex, won't fit in stock bore. I mean the nut will fit but a socket won't except maybe thin wall, but I don't want to risk screwing up my brand new $4000 wheels :) I think these were designed for the Model S which is 22mm. I'm actually not sure the 30mm flange will fit either but it's probably ok. I thought about contacting them since they seem to do a lot of Ti stuff but then I started scaring myself reading the internet about taking care of Ti lugs :p

Fair enough. But, couldn't you simply buy a thin wall lug nut socket with protective layer? Or are you worried about professional shops potentially being careless?

I have an upgrade of my M3 with Vossen VFS2 9.00 x 20" 5x114.30 ET38.0 upfront and
Vossen VFS2 10.50 x 20" 5x114.30 ET45.0 at the back. Tyres are 245/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20.
I am very happy with it. Oh by the way, it is lowered about 3-4 cm (1,2-1,5 inch).
Currently my brake calipers are painted fluorescent green :D
give me your thoughts....

Looks good! You can probably add a subtle diffuser and play more with subtle green accents (inside or outside). But that’s my opinion - you do what makes you happy. Here’s my similar “butt” shot :)
