No idea.Well, none of your scenario you just described had any snow in it. So how does it differ from what I am experiencing in TX?
I can only post my experiences.

Ah *sugar*So, in UK, you can't change wiper mode to Off.
And In Canada, you can't change wiper mode away from Auto.
Is this why Biden said Elon Musk's cooperation and/or technical relationships with other countries is worthy of being looked at?
Here in the UK you may as well be speaking Spanish for the use voice control and understanding goes.Simple solution voice command "Wiper sensitivity higher/lower". Wipers are the worst thing on my 3. Next to swerving right on autopilot at every merging on ramp.
Instead of the King's English I guess you need to sound like a California software engineer? Here in the UK you may as well be speaking Spanish for the use voice control and understanding goes.
But that’s for another thread.

Just drove to the cottage in a light snow storm. Highway were wet with melted snow. Cars in front created a mist that the wipers correctly took care off. On less busy two way roads, when going over 70 km/h, the wipers didn't kick in because the snow didn't hit the windshield. At lower speed, they worked correctly to get rid of that snow that melted on the windshield.I have 2022.42.2 and have not noticed an improvement yet. My complaint is that the auto wipers do not turn on in light rain. Even if the window is very difficult to see out of due to rain covering they just sit there in the off position like everything is just fine. I have no choice but to hit the button frequently or engage manual mode.
One reason I don't post often here. Mods keep moving stuff into subsections that nobody go intoI posted this on Reddit yesterday but didn't get much reply so I'll see if it gets better traction here. I've seen many posts about how bad the auto wipers are but personally, I'm not experiencing issues with them since October of last fall upgrade. Could be because I've clay bar'ed that area at the same time, I don't know. Anyway, my wife was driving yesterday while it was raining just above freezing point (2C) and I took this video of the wipers' performance in a light to moderate rain with mists from cars ahead at highway speed later on in the video. For auto wipers, I have no complaint about how they behaved and looking at the video, how do you rate them. Is their behavior the same as yours? Worse? Better? Got stuck in traffic because of a stalled car at first so that's why it takes some time before we started moving, but it gives a idea on they work in light rain standing still.
Edit: Moved, I guess we can say bye bye to any traction now...
