Max Volume iPhone Connected - Way too Loud!

Ok so recently I've noticed that sometime in the last 2-3 updates (Not sure since I've been working for home for the last 3 months), the car will automatically make the volume 100% to the Max whenever I lock or unlock my iPhone X.

It is super loud and annoying. It blows my ears out whenever I get a text message. Help! Any work arounds?

This seems to work for me (only been a day sofar):

"On your device, go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and see if Attention Aware Features is enabled or now. If it is enabled, turn it off to see if your issue is fixed."

Same issue here. Always full blast. Terrible. But I have an iPhone. iPhone does not have Attention Aware Features. Any suggestion?

I found if you turn your iPhone ringer to vibrate it eliminates the blasting speakers.
