Most often that is caused by the plug not getting locked when plugged in or when it starts charging.
See if you can pull it out (without pushing the button to unlock) while charging to test the lock engaged. If you can, that’s the problem. If it’s at a reduced current it won’t hurt anything. And if it’s at High current it won’t let you pull it out.
In general, you get this error when the car is not seeing clean, stable power from the charger and this is done as a safety precaution. Typically it’s an issue with a loose connection, damaged cable, fault in the charger, etc.
