Thanks! What does this mean to Me ? Should I worry or ask the service why they changed remanufactured but not the new one? What about future Warranty ? Does it will work for Me If the battery is remanufactured? Have some one the experience of this? Thank You in advance.

Yes, you should ask all those questions and get the answers in writing (on the Work Order) if possible. Getting a new pack as replacement should not be expected, even though for an owner it's preferred. You are entitled to know exactly what you are getting as replacement and whether the pack is restricted by the Batterygate capping and the Chargegate aggressive throttling. Obviously you can test for both once you have your car back, but have them answer your questions before picking up your car. That's what I would do.

Your warranty doesn’t change. Tesla owes you a pack that matches or exceeds the performance of yours when it failed, and that’s about it.

I just picked my car at Tesla after a battery change due to the Maximum Battery Charge Level Reduced warning.

I'm not satisfied at all by the battery swap !!!! I had a 1014114-00-D before and now I have a 1088815-01-B and I have lost 40km of max. range. Previously at 100% I had 345km of range, now I'm at 300km (this is only 186 miles... 78% of the original range).

Previous battery had serial T13J now it's T13i.

I told the technician that this was unacceptable and he told me that the battery needs to calibrate itself and that I should do 5-100% charges a few times and that it will be good.

I have doubts to say the least.

What is this calibration supposed to give you in range? What if it doesn't?
I have no idea, the technician just told me that new battery needs to be calibrated and that's why I have such a poor range...
I've done a 1%-98% supercharge and I just got 300km of range... and the computer said that I recharged 62kwh of energy... so this is a joke. The calibration will never give me 45km of additional range. So they screwed me with a refurbished half-broken battery.

Can you get your cell voltage read at 100% SoC and see what that is?

That genuinely sucks!
Demand for another battery that gives you, at least, the range you previously had.
Good luck.

I've done the calculation of the capping based on another thread...
Conclusion : my pack has 64.3kwh usuable !!!
Since I charged from 1 to 98 soc and the computer told me I've charged 62kwh this make sense.
So they screw me big time !!!

Just called Tesla Service to explain my range loss problem with my "new" battery pack.
They told me that the battery needs about 2 WEEKS of charge/discharge in order to stabilize and that "cells" will be activated during the process and that my range will increase progressively up to full capacity.
I have never heard or read something like that. I think they try to save time.
I told them I will call them back in 2 weeks since I have absolutely no hope it will change anything.

If anybody here as already heard and/or experienced this "waking up of new cells" story please tell me because it sounds bullshit to me.

I would get everything in writing from the Tesla service center.

I'm losing the will to live with Tesla now. Despite it charging to 80 miles range the actual usable range is getting less and less. I managed 34 miles yesterday driving really carefully

There is no no way I can reach the service centre for the appointment on the 11/02 and the car is pretty unusable.

I've called the service center who agreed I should be given a loaner and the car towed but roadside say as it is out of main warranty it would be my responsibility to get the car to the service centre and I can't get the car recovered.

Total BS. They're just saying "go away for a few weeks" and giving you some random made up suggestions that won't matter. They gave you a bad pack, make them fix it. They can't downgrade you under warranty and that's what they did - take @Gixx1300R advice and get everything in writing in case you need to have an attorney write them a reminder of how warranty laws work.
