May 2017 build–Model X Seals

    Hey TMC,

    Day 2 with the Model X (May 2017 build) and learning more about the car and did a more thorough inspection at home and found some seals to be either loose or poorly done and just wanted to share with the community to see if this is normal, expected, etc, as well as to document for anyone who may be in close to delivery inspection.

    Here are my observations:

    Driver and Passenger side door seals (bottom of the door) seem to be either not attached or glued properly to the actual door (photo below),

    Also the driver side FWD seals on top of the door don't seem to align with the glass properly. The seals pucker in some places. The passenger side FWD looks clean

    It's a common affliction, unfortunately. Service center will repair those.

    Very common. Mine had the seals detached and visibly hanging in the doorway on delivery day. It's a quick fix by the SC.

    Thanks guys. just dropped it off for its first service...2 days after delivery.
    What about the FWD? anyone else have a similar issue?
