Very very cool! I think non-p AWD won’t be getting White seats until a majority of P AWD gets theres.

Not sure I agree, since I can no longer build good logic about why they're doing it as they are. (And note that this chart is Performance only: P+ and P-, but not plain AWD.)

I once had a theory that GA3 was building P-, and had all the white seats, and GA4 was building P+ and had only black seats for logistics simplicity -- but several folks believe all P are being built on GA4, leaving me no good theory about why we aren't seeing any white P- or black P+.

(You could theorize that all white seats are positioned at GA4, and AWD are on GA3 -- that would fit your scenario, but it still leaves my mystery.)

Line waiter, ordered June 26, P- MCRed/White/EAP. Edit Design disappeared today, and form for trade-in self-evaluation showed up.. Tesla sales must not have gotten my e-mail a few weeks back that I would prefer to take delivery in October/November (due to home under construction at the moment).

And I got an e-mail today too to finalize trade-in, payment, and schedule delivery. Actually, I had that e-mail when I posted previously, just in my wife's e-mail, which she never checks.

More progress: received my ISA call, VIN (637xx), and delivery date (8/31) tonight!

ISA said I could take delivery as early as August 28th, but I'll be out of town then, so I scheduled for August 31st instead.

Summary
3/31/16 - Waited in line at the Natick, MA store, reserved at 11:30am EDT
4/6/18 - Invited to configure RWD, Deferred for AWD.
5/23/18 - Invited to configure AWD. Ordered Blue + AWD + 19s + EAP.
8/5/18 - Edit Design link disappeared, asked for loan information, asked to confirm delivery details

Taking delivery at Dedham, MA

5/23/18 - AWD ordered.
8/10/18 - Delivery advisor voicemail call / email received, stating delivery on 8/27/18.
I wasn't able to speak with her yet because I missed the call, and it's the weekend now.
My online profile still shows an RN #, and no VIN yet.

Interesting thing is that my delivery date is 2 weeks earlier than I anticipated :)
But I was trying to coordinate my end of Lease for my Model X which is in 2 weeks :(

The end went SUPER fast! The communication was painful in my opinion. I never spoke to my ISA via phone. Only email...one a day. Very difficult to move things along, but in the end it was still really quick. So, take hope if you were like me and had complete radio silence from them that things can turn around REALLY quick! Also, just for additional confirmation - the car is certainly worth the wait. I've driven a RWD and now AWD Model 3 and the AWD is definitely superior IMO. Travel safe everyone!

Whoooo. My edit just disappeared this morning after a 6/28 Order, 3/31 res. I’m looking to pickup in Kansas City - how was your experience down there once you arrived?

The team was great. It was our delivery guy's first day doing deliveries though so it took a little longer than we expected. But still he/everyone was very professional and we finally got the car...so that was the best part. ;)

You didn't happen to see my Blue/white sitting around? I was not expecting the possibility of a 5 day turn time.
